GALILEO stands for GeorgiA LIbrary LEarning Online. Begun in 1995, GALILEO is an initiative of the University System of Georgia that provides access to over 150 databases, which, in turn, index thousands of periodicals, including scholarly journals. Many of the articles located through GALILEO are available in full text. The easiest way to access GALILEO is to go to the CSU Libraries' home page and click on "Find articles, etc. (GALILEO)" link under Research

CSU faculty, staff and students may access GALILEO off-campus to via a password. To obtain the password, go to the CSU online library catalog page and click on "Get GALILEO password." For more detailed instructions, go to the GALILEO password instruction page. On campus, GALILEO is available without a password.

CSU users also have access to a number of CSU purchased electronic resources via GALILEO. Among these are Grove Online Music, Classical Music Library, JSTOR, and OVID. For assistance in using GALILEO or any other electronic resources, contact your liaison librarian or stop by the Reference Desk in the Schwob Memorial Library or the Music Library's service desk.
