Arts & Sciences III Collection Arts & Sciences III includes journals in languages and literature, as well as essential titles in the fields of music, film studies, folklore, performing arts, religion, and the history and study of art and architecture. There are 151 titles in this collection. Life Sciences Collection The Life Sciences Collection is JSTOR's largest collection, with over 5.5 million pages available today and scheduled to grow to more than seven million. At its completion, it will comprise a minimum of 160 titles spanning disciplines in the biological, health, and general sciences. November 3, 2009 - Video Contest Submissions Available OnlineThe CSU Libraries Library Video Contest submissions are now available online at: http://library.colstate.edu/video_contest/video_contest.aspThe videos were screened at a viewing on April 23, 2009 and judged by a panel of faculty, library staff and students. The videos truly show CSU students' creativity, energy, insight and film-making abilities. Let's have a round of applause for these creative videos! July 2, 2009 - Pardon Our ProgressPardon Our Progress For the next 6 weeks or so, the first floor of the Schwob Library will be in disarray due to some major remodeling projects. We hope you will be patient with us while we pursue these somewhat disruptive shifting/moving endeavors. If you are unable to locate certain materials during this time, please ask for assistance at the Information Commons/ Reference Desk. We know you are going to love the new areas that we are creating. Here is a list of our projects: *The Bound Periodicals section is being weeded of selected journals (outdated materials and those available electronically) and relocated to the front wall of the library. *The Reading Room is being relocated to the space that was occupied by Bound Periodicals; a lounge area will also occupy that space. *A café (an Einstein satellite) will be in the space formerly occupied by the Reading Room. *The Reference Collection is being shifted to take up four stacks formerly occupied by Bound Periodicals. A few large outdated reference sets have been weeded. *The shifting of the Reference Collection will allow for the expansion of the Information Commons (hopefully 60 more computers!). *A mezzanine will be accessible via a new staircase. This will be in the area along the west wall of the library. Stay tuned for more information… February 19, 2009 - CSU Libraries list of cancelled databases, journals, etc.Current Georgia state budget reductions have resulted in an onslaught of cancellations for CSU Libraries collections. You can always check the "Databases A-Z" tab on the GALILEO homepage to see if a specific title is available electronically. Below are lists of cancelled databases, journals, etc.
