Accessing Your GIL Account

If your circulation account is in good standing, you will be able to access your own circulation record to see what items you have checked out or to renew items:

From GIL at http://gil.colstate.edu, select "Access my GIL account" and do the following:

• Enter your Institution ID number, which is 201 and your entire 909 student number that appears on your Cougar One Card
• Enter your complete last name
• Click logon
• Scroll down to "Items Checked Out" to see what you have.

If you see an item listed as Charged+, the item has been recalled and needs to be returned by the due date indicated.

You may get the current GALILEO password by clicking on the "Request" item in the top menu; then click on OK for GALILEO password.

If you cannot access your GIL account, please contact the Circulation Department to make sure you are correctly entered in our circulation database.

Remember to logoff your account.
