Sending Attachments in CougarNet Email

Like most mailers, CougarNet Mail provides a straightforward way to send attachments.

First click on the little envelope compose icon to begin writing a letter.

Next click on the paperclip icon to attach your file(s).

Here is the paperclip icon

Next click on browse to select a file from one of your folders.

From the pulldown menu at the top of the box select either the H: or A: drive. The H: drive has a long name that includes either "lab" or "ccmain" and the A: drive says "3 and ½ inch floppy disk."

Browsing to find a message

You will see a list of your files. Find the file you want, double click on it and then click add.

CougarNet then lists the file in the white box where it is ready to be attached. When you have listed all the files you want to attach to your letter, click the attach button in the lower right corner of the attachment box.

This is the button you hit to attach all those files

You should see your attachment in a small box above the body of your letter.

Your attachment is now in your letter

Write and send your letter, which now includes your attached file(s).
