Value Added Services

Mission: Find out what patrons want and come up with creative ways to meet their needs and desires. Provide services to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Promote the library as an academic refuge. Improve the overall image of the library.

Funding Issues Committee

Mission: Promote the library and seek alternate sources of funding. Assist with collection reviews to identify needs and promote appropriate subject coverage.

Policies and Procedures Committee

Mission: Revise and coordinate policies throughout the libraries. Ensure that library policies are in line with current law, e.g. the Patriot Act. Update policies and procedures as necessary. Communicate policy and procedure mandates and changes throughout the libraries.

Morale, Recreation, and Development Committee

Mission: Build morale, provide opportunities for recreation and personal development, and recognize employee contributions and achievements.

Mission: Acting in an advisory capacity to the Library Director, recommend committee appointments, structure, and missions. Promote smooth committee operations and prevent overlap of assigned duties. Report to the Library Director about library-wide committee activities.
